ABOUT US
The Wiltshire Police Band was formed in October 1985
with woodwind, brass and percussion sections, the band repertoire is vast and ranges from traditional marches to big band classics, popular musical shows and arrangements of classical music.
The band performs with many community choirs and musical groups, and supports local charities and worthwhile causes by raising money at local and national events.
Rehearsals take place at Rowde Village Hall, SN10 2PP
every Tuesday evening from 7.45pm to 9.45pm.
Our Musical Director is Martin Perry LRAM ARCM
The band membership had to be opened up to anyone because we were unable to provide a band with only police due to their working Schedule.
We welcome new members, there is no commitment to joining the police force.
There are currently no serving police officers in the band.
